As can be seen from the above introduction, in fact, the quality of products of different brands may not differ much, but the price may vary greatly. Brand awareness plays a key role in product price, but after-sales service is also a very important link. I have a deep experience as a watch detective. I bought an Engineer series watch in 2013 (I won’t tell you the brand directly, you can tell by looking at the series). It lasted less than ten days and it stopped running. It was not bumped or dropped. After I got it from the counter, I didn’t give it a replacement, and the warranty lasted more than a month. The after-sales service was very disappointing. I later bought a Seamaster series model. After using it for three years, I couldn’t adjust the calendar. I got it at the counter and it was fixed within a week. In fact, this is the difference. Although the Seamaster watch is cheaper than the Engineer watch, the experience is different. Of course, I don’t know if its after-sales service has improved or not. I don’t know.
Switzerland is the big brother in the watch industry, and Japan is not bad either. Zhaogong is a Japanese-funded company. Do you feel a little sad when you see this, but we are Chinese. Next, I will introduce that in our country, the Seagull movement is actually very good. It can really be compared with the same model movement of the Swiss movement, but it is incomparable with the brand's self-produced movement. Another one is Xiong's enamel. The filigree enamel dial can make the gold wire to 0.04mm, while the Swiss can only make the gold wire to 0.07mm. This means that our domestic company Xiong's can achieve finer precision. Later, a certain Swiss brand of watches also asked Xiong to make this accessory.
When we learn more about the situation in the manufacturing industry, we will have more references when selecting watches, instead of going entirely for the brand.
